Christopher Brian Bridges was born September 11, 1977. (VIRGO STAND UP)  He is better known by his stage name Ludacris, which means crazy. He is an American rapper, entrepreneur and actor. Along with his manager, Chaka Zulu, Ludacris is the co-founder of Disturbing tha Peace, an imprint distributed by Def Jam Recordings. Ludacris has won a Screen Actors Guild, Critic's Choice, MTV, and three Grammy Awards during his career. Ludacris was one of the first and most influential Dirty South artists to achieve mainstream success.

 Born in Champaign, Illinois, Ludacris moved to Atlanta, Georgia at age nine, where he began rapping. After a brief stint as a disc jockey, he released his debut album Back for the First Time in 2000, which contained the singles "Southern Hospitality" and "What's Your Fantasy". In 2001, he released Word of Mouf, followed by Chicken-n-Bee. He took a more serious approach with his next three albums, The Red Light District, Release Therapy, and Theater of the Mind. His latest record, Battle of the Sexes, was released in 2010. As an actor, he has appeared in films including 2 Fast 2 Furious, Crash , Gamer, and Fast Five . He is a great actor.

Pharrell Williams was born April 5, 1973. He is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer. Williams and Chad Hugo make up the record production duo The Neptunes, producing Soul, hip hop and R&B music. He is also the lead vocalist and drummer of rock, funk, and hip hop band N.E.R.D, which he formed with Hugo and childhood friend Shay Haley. He released his first single "Frontin'" in 2003 and followed up with his first album In My Mind in 2006. He is also 40 years old, he has not stop producing music but he hasn’t made a song since N.E.R.D. He is still active and helping amateurs get to their goals he recently went on The Voice to help Usher coach his team and give them some advice.

 As part of The Neptunes, Williams has produced numerous hit singles for various musicians. Williams has earned eight Grammy Awards, four of which as part of The Neptunes. He is also the co-founder of the clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Clothing. He is a member of the supergroup V.A. Playaz with Fam-Lay, Clipse, Skillz, Missy Elliott, and Timbaland & Magoo.

Madonna Louise Ciccone was on born August 16, 1958. She is an American singer-songwriter, actress, director, dancer, and entrepreneur. Born in Bay City, Michigan, she moved to New York City in 1977 to pursue a career in modern dance and performed in the music groups Breakfast Club and Emmy. She is 55 and still looks like she is 25. She keeps herself in shape and she is not making music but she supports different charities such as the St. Jude hospital for children with cancer. She is an icon to music culture period and he is still a beautiful sight to see.

She attained immense popularity by pushing the boundaries of lyrical content in mainstream popular music and imagery in her music videos, which became a fixture on MTV. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born 5 May 1988. She is better known simply as Adele, is an English singer-songwriter, musician and multi-instrumentalist. Adele was offered a recording contract from XL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on MySpace in 2006. The next year she received the Brit Awards "Critics' Choice" award and won the BBC Sound of 2008. Her debut album, 19, was released in 2008 to much commercial and critical success. It certified four times platinum in the UK, and double platinum in the US. Her career in the US was boosted by a Saturday Night Live appearance in late 2008.

Onika Tanya Maraj was born in December 8, 1982. She is known by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is a Trinidadian-born American rapper, singer, songwriter and television personality. Born in Saint James, Port of Spain and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, she enrolled in performing art schools as a child. After success with three mix tapes released between 2007 and 2009, Minaj signed to Young Money Entertainment. Her debut studio album Pink Friday (2010) peaked atop the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) the month after its release. Its most successful single "Super Bass" has been certified quadruple-platinum and has sold more than four million copies, becoming one of the best-selling singles in the United States. She became the first female solo artist to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. In 2007, she gained notoriety as the subject of a sex tape that subsequently resulted in a court awarding her $5 million; later in that same year, she and her family rose to prominence with their E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and its subsequent spin-offs, including Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. Chris vs. The world

Chris brown is a fine young man. He came from a two parent home and his mom made sure when he come into this industrial he didn’t use profanity or disrespected his religion. As soon, as Chris became of age he became wild and his music matured as he matured. He came out with songs that made girls toes curl but when he met Rihanna in 2009 when they remix “Umbrella” a spark between them immediately begin. Chris fell and still is madly in love with Rihanna, they got tattoos together and their fly matched each other. The couple was the cutest young couple other then Bey and Jay and they were unstoppable to me.

One night, an argument burse out and left Rihanna in the hospital and Chris in jail. We don’t know the real story how it happen but we know he beaten her. The public was out rage, radio stations stopped playing his songs, he had community service and he had to stay away from Rihanna. Chris brown lost a lot of his fans and sponsorships because of this and the media was on him like white on rice. He made a public appearance for the first time on the today show making a worldwide apology for his actions because there was no other way; nobody wanted his on their radio. He again appeared at the BET awards and did a Michael Jackson tribute that he couldn’t even finish, he was into tears because that was his role model and he thought highly of MJ. The whole place was on their feet and crying because he was sincere and he was sorry and he wanted to come back.

            Chris soon made songs with artists and made a comeback worldwide. He slowly was gaining respect back from everyone except Rihanna. She was doing well and so was he music. On the low, they were seeing each other and then she dropped the restraining order and they began dating again. The public was mad at her but what could they do nothing but now that everything is over they are happily together not giving two rat tails what the world think.

Kayne west is a lyrical genius. I respect this man so much its ridiculous. I became a fan when I heard “Slow Jams ft. Jamie Foxx and Twista” , I was 10 but I knew almost every rap song and learning this song was difficult and after I heard it so much I was like he is my favorite. Year after year, he came out with number one hits and singles that made you feel like you was a boss and who was going to check you? ”Tell me nothing” has to be my all time favorite because every time I hear that song, I get hype, and I felt like a queen and I would go around saying who’s going to check me?

 Kayne has been through so much in his life such as his mother dying and his car accident which left him with a metal plate in his jaw.  He didn’t make song for a year and he actually left the country because, paparazzi and things were in his face and I respect him for not lashing out. Everyone knows, when an artist leaves and come back they are coming back with a bang and that’s exactly what he did. He made “power” and the countries was shocked and in tune with this movement and soon people believe that he gave his soul to the devil because he makes music questioning god and saying it’s a high power other then god. Kayne been through so much and he’s still a genius and I love the fact that I never know what to expect with him, he is truly and artist of many talents.

Lady Ga-Ga

Lady gaga is pure to me. She doesn’t forget her home but at the same time she uses her time and money towards things she want to help. Her style may be weird but it’s not cliché like these other artists. She is a dancer, songwriter, and musician. She worked very hard to get to where she is and she is not done yet. She fights for what she believes in and I honestly think she keeps god number 1 in her life. Her fashion statement is what I like most because you never know what to expect with her, all of her outfits have been different since she came out. Even though the public bashes her, she does not change. She lets teenagers know that it’s okay to be different and even though people might bash you, you continue to be you.  I never heard her speak down about someone, nor have I heard anybody not respect her. Her music is different and she gives her fans what they want, her career has been such a success and I will continue to support an artist that is positive about every outcome.

 

Issues in Our Generation

In todays society, if you do not look a certain way you are consider am “outcast”. No one is comfortable with dressing like their personality because they are afraid of being talked about or afraid of not having friends. As you get older you realize, what is a friend? You will come into contact with friends you think that are your best friends but as soon as a situation pops off that one person you thought would be there is now talking about you. For example, say you wanted to dress like lady gaga, because you think she is bold and a role model because her music gives you an escape route. People will judge you because they don’t understand. People fear what they don’t know and in this world you will not please everyone because everyone is not on the same level.

Teen pregnancy is like a trend now. I don’t find it cute with ANY TEEN becoming pregnant, I understand if someone was rape and cannot have an abortion but just having unprotected sex because you don’t like how a rubber feels is pure STUPIDITY.  Sex is like a right of passage to some people because they feel like they need to and sometimes the parents in their lives do not care, they want to do it because their friends are. Peer pressure is a butthole because it takes over the weak minded that cannot help themselves. Sex places a huge part in my generation because girls don’t know how to say no or because the dud said they love her so she feel obligated. You do not owe any man your body nor do you owe them ANYTHING. Respect yourself and say no.

Growing Pains.

Today I will talk about children growing up to fast, as I searched and found pictures of a 14 year old with weave and color hair. I am not saying that this parent has bad parenting skills but if you do everything young, what will you have to do when you get older? I saw a picture that caught my attention and it was tiny eldest daughter. She look like she has always been grown and as I look back her pictures she had color dye in her hair at the age of 14 and now she’s a artist she with blue hair. I think the color is pretty period but as a 17 in my household, you grew up and did things as you came of age so you could enjoy it more. Does it make it right that she now an artist getting piercing and weave and color dye? A thing like this causes girls to think that their appearance such as their hair doesn’t matter because they are quick to dye their hair any color and want to be hip and cute. Who wants to hire a girl with red, blue and purple hair? That is not professional and nobody is telling kids that. From the clothes she wears to the hair color she wears is inappropriate to me. I don’t want to get into dept with this but I wanted to just focus on the hair color and the extreme make she wears. Her audience isn’t teens my age(17-19), they are little middle school girls who are trying to find themselves but the OMG Girlz are not helping them by dressing the way they do.

Angela Davis was born on January 26, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama, U.S. Ms. Davis was born to Frank and Sallye Davis. Her both parents were college graduates and worked as school teachers. She mind was such a jewel and she was so smart they tried to shut her down but they couldn't. Angela was one of the most known faces in the 60s and 70s. She was apart of  The Black Panthers Party, which is an organization  (originally the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense) was an African-American revolutionary socialist organization active in the United States from 1966 until 1982. The Black Panther Party achieved national and international notoriety through its involvement in the Black Power movement and U.S. politics of the 1960s and 1970s. It was originally founded in Oakland, California by two gentlemen by the names of Huey Newton and Bobby Seale on October 15, 1966; the organization initially set forth a doctrine calling primarily for the protection of African-American neighborhoods from police brutality. Angela has a powerful mind and the government wanted to shut her up and so they pressed charges on her which made appear “America’s Most Wanted”. Across the nation, thousands of people who agreed with her declaration began organizing a liberation movement. In New York City, black writers formed a committee called the Black People in Defense of Angela Davis. By February 1971 more than 200 local committees in the United States and 67 in foreign countries worked to liberate Angela Davis from prison. Thanks, in part, to this support, in 1972 the state released her from county jail. After spending 18 months behind bars, Davis was acquitted of all charges by an all-white jury.

This tragedy is very shocking and I’m seriously starting to believe our last days are coming. People say that terrorist attack but I think it honestly was an American because they knew what the walk was for and knew a lot of people would be there. Whoever it is, is trying to make a statement and for the Americans that are blaming Obama should be ashamed of themselves because how was he suppose to know? He did Mr. Obama is an American and human like us and we need to acknowledge that and respect that he’s doing his best. There was 3 bombing and the most traumatic one was the one at the finish line and there were 4 deaths and 86 injured. I honestly, think they will not find the person because it’s too much crime scene and too many people. Celebrities such as Rihanna only posted a picture she saw on CNN and she felt that it would be respectful and post the picture and say “#PrayForBoston” she was attacked by many people, for what? She was showing her sympathy like other was but she’s wrong for posting it. People are very selfish and self centered when it comes to certain individuals and I think us as a whole have a lot of growing up to do.

Today I am wringing a post on the intellectual, brilliant, talented, gorgeous and CREATIVE Beyoncé’ Giselle Knowles-Carter. She is the most radiant women on the planet besides my grandmother and mother. I look up to her because she set great examples on how you should act as a woman. She also follows the steps of God, she had a boyfriend, she married him then she had a family. That is it’s the supposed to be. She also very voice opinionated and everyone she works with always has something nice to say because she keeps business separate with personal life. Her father helped her grow into a very successful businesswoman. She has won 17 Grammies from 45 nominations; she won 85 from 218 award nominations. Beyoncé is only 31 and she’s not done yet.  She gave birth to her beautiful baby girl name Blu Ivy Carter.

Make 42.50 jeans, You own for FREE!

Jeans such as the one in my picture can almost cost up to 50.00, which is ridiculous. Well luckily you found my post because I am about to tell you how to make jeans like these in your own bathroom. You can purchase jeans at your local goodwill or thrift store and it will cost you no more then 4.50 for a pair of jeans. You must have cheese grainer or sand paper, bleach, razors and rubber bands. So in order to make this look work or any other look work you must have an idea. Also, know how the jeans fit on you so the cuts you make will be comfortable for you. Make small incisions with the razors, you can make any line you want but then use the sand paper or the grainer to go over them to make a destroyed look. Next, you are going to bleach your shorts however you want to. You make use a spray bottle for big patches of mist, a sponge for bleach spots in multiple places or you can roll them up and use the rubber bangs to dip in bleach to tie dye them but make sure you use gloves. Let your jeans sit for 2-5 minutes until you see the fabric change, apply bleach as necessary. Finally, you wash and dry them and there you go. You made your own jeans and it costs you NOTHING!

Equality for ALL.

An article I chose to do is about the “Equality of Gay Marriage”. I agree totally with this and I feel like this is way past over due. My view on this is, if homosexuals can adopt babies, why can’t they marriage each other? People bring the bible into this and saying “It’s against God” and “That’s not the way of nature” but who are you to judge someone because of their sexual orientation? I am quick to say “God is love and God is forgiving” He will forgive you of all your sins just repent but I also tell people not to judge homosexuals just pray for them because “Judge and be not judge”. Homosexuals has rights just as a heterosexual does and everybody going to see things the way you do, their not asking you to accept them. Marriage is a secret bond between two people that love each other; they want a family as well. Why can’t people accept the fact that this world is changing and even if it’s not of God it’s not your place to tell another person where they are going if they keep going the path their on. I’m pretty sure they know the bible, probably better then you. God wouldn’t want you to sit there a judge somebody of their sins because no one is flawless. Every sin is weighted in death no matter what it is; it’s all the same on judgment day. To me Gays should be able to reunite their live together, they have their rights. God did make Adam and eve not Adam and serve but God also made Jesus who forgives everyone and his love is limitless. So everyone should back off of homosexuals and just realize they’re humans too, so respect them as such.

How to make high waisted shorts...

Today I will teach you to make shorts like these. You will need a razor blade, sandpaper/cheese grainer, scissors, bleach, rubber bands and any type of studs you want. First, you want to use your razor to make desired cuts. Make long strokes to make accurate lines and to make sure you put a board underneath the inside of shorts so you won't cut through them. Also, you make use the scissors for fast results but make sure you know what you're doing if you use scissors because you won't have little lines. Now you may go ahead and roll your shorts however you want, use the rubber bands and wrap them around the shorts. Put the bleach in a little bucket and dip the shorts in to it. You leave it in there if you want the acid white as you see in the picture leave in the bucket for 4-5 minutes, if you want tie dye like the picture leave in the bucket for 2-3 minutes and let it sit, then wash/ dry them. You will notice that you're shorts will be destroyed looking and you will now be able to place your studs on as desired. It is two ways to apply studs you may super glue them one but to be safe, puncture your clothing’s with your studs. What I man is use the sharp side to go through the clothing then bend the ends. Then your masterpiece is finished!!
